Leesburg
Leesburg is Lake County’s oldest city. It is located south of the Ocala National Forest and about one hour northwest of Orlando. It has a population of about 311,975 and sits on the Lake Wales Ridge, a range of hills that runs north and south.
The city, also known as the "Lakefront City," offers lots of recreation for the whole family, including a marina and three access points to the Harris Chain of Lakes. The natural resources, which are very prevalent in the area, make for the most pristine environmental benchmarks in the entire state. The Leesburg Regional Airport provides convenience as well as flight training for those interested in pursuing the excitement of flying.
The newly renovated and revitalized downtown provides a relaxing and awe-inspiring moment of Florida living at its finest.
